Each of my art works is based on a real-life scene that has touched me in some way...through its form, intricacy, composition, simplicity...

My aim is to bring these moments back to life, using paint and stitching to enhance their depth and dimension and give them clear structure and definition.

When working, I like to feel the canvas, often painting with my fingers and experimenting with different medium.

I see beauty in all that surrounds me and am particularly drawn to shapes and contrasts.

My desire is to share this way of viewing the world with others and perhaps inspire them to take the time to do the same.

Placing our attention differently can help us find joy, harmony and serenity in the chaotic world that surrounds us.
